On-wall racetrack

A clean surface solution

When in-wall routing isn't possible, a racetrack cover runs along the wall surface and hides the cables inside a slim painted channel.

Wall-mounted TV with a white racetrack cable cover running down the wall to the console below

Covers up to 3 cables · Paintable to match your wall · No fishing cables through drywall required

In-wall AV cable routing

Hide your HDMI & signal cables

Routes up to 10 AV cables through the wall so nothing shows between the TV and your devices.

EchoGear circular brush wall plates for routing HDMI and AV cables in-wallHow it works

Two brush wall plates are installed — one behind the TV, one lower near your devices. Your HDMI and AV cables thread through the wall between them, completely out of sight. Accommodates HDMI, coaxial, Ethernet, speaker, and other low-voltage cables.

Before and after showing visible cables vs. clean wall-mounted TV with no cords showingBefore & after

Up to 10 customer-supplied in-wall rated cables routed in a single unobstructed stud bay, up to 5 feet. Brush plates included.

Power relocation kit

No more dangling cords

Routes your TV's power cable through the wall so nothing hangs below the TV.

In-wall power relocation kit components — recessed outlet plate, brush cable pass-through, and extension cordWhat's included

A recessed outlet behind the TV, a low-voltage brush plate to pass cables through, and an extension cord that runs inside the wall — all UL listed.

Before and after showing messy cables hanging down vs. clean wall-mounted TV with no visible cordsBefore & after

Existing outlet stays in place. We add a second outlet directly behind the TV so the power cord disappears completely into the wall.

Choosing a mount

Tilt vs. full motion

Both include full installation. Pick based on how you watch.

Tilt mount showing TV angled down -8° against a wallTilt · +$50

Stays close to the wall. Tilts the screen up or down — ideal above a fireplace or dresser where the TV sits higher than eye level.

Full motion mount extended from wall showing ±45° swing rangeFull motion · +$75

Extends away from the wall on an articulating arm. Swings side to side and tilts — best for corners or rooms where you sit in multiple spots.

About Chad
Chad Stansel
A local name. A personal approach.

After a long career developing software and managing teams in the corporate world, I finally closed that chapter — and immediately started the next one. I’m not wired to sit still.

What most people don’t know is that behind the desk job, there was always a side of me that lived for the hands-on work. For years I spent my own time and money building out high-end media rooms and tackling complex home electronics installs — the kind of projects most people hand off to a pro. I just did them because I loved it.

Retirement gave me the chance to stop doing that just for myself. Stansel Home Services is what that turned into. Every TV mount, every hidden cable run, every clean finished install carries decades of personal experience behind it — not just a technician following a checklist, but someone who has genuinely obsessed over this stuff his whole life.

If you want it done right by someone who actually cares how it looks when they leave, you’re in the right place.

Good questions

A little clarity
before we mount.

What does the base $125 include?

The base service covers a standard wall mount installation — finding studs, drilling, securing the mount, hanging and leveling your TV. Everything needed for a clean, solid install on a standard drywall wall. Add-ons for cable management, power, and accessories are priced separately in the estimator.

Do you charge more for larger TVs?

Yes. TVs 70"–85" add $25 to the base price; 86" and larger add $75. Bigger screens are heavier to lift and position safely and often require heavier-duty hardware. Select your TV size in the order form and the price updates automatically.

Can you use a mount I already own?

Yes — choose "I already have a mount" in the form and no mount upcharge applies. Send the mount model or a product link so Chad can confirm it's compatible with your wall and TV before the visit. If you need a mount provided, choose that option and select tilt (+$50) or full motion (+$75). Ceiling and specialty mounts require a custom quote.

How do I hide the cables?

Three options depending on your wall and situation. The TV power relocation kit (+$100) hides the power cord inside the wall by adding a recessed outlet behind the TV — requires an existing grounded outlet on the same wall within about 5 feet of the base of the TV. In-wall AV cable routing (+$50) hides up to 10 customer-supplied in-wall rated cables (HDMI, coaxial, Ethernet, speaker, and more) in a single unobstructed stud bay, up to 5 feet, with brush plates included. The on-wall racetrack cover (+$20) runs a slim painted channel along the wall surface — a clean surface option when in-wall routing isn't possible.

What about fireplaces, brick, or specialty installs?

Fireplace and masonry installs need a review before booking. Use the contact form or text wall and mount photos with your project details and Chad will assess suitability and provide a custom quote.

What do I need ready on the day?

Have your TV and devices available, cables accessible, and the work area cleared. If you're supplying your own mount, have it on hand. For smart TV setup, you'll enter your own account passwords. For large TVs, let Chad know in advance if stair access or tight spaces are involved.

How do I pay?

Cash, check, or digital transfer — Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle. Payment is collected at the time of service. No payment is taken online when booking.

Does submitting the form confirm my appointment?

Yes. Pick an available weekday slot in the order form, review your order, then click Book installation. Your appointment is confirmed once you see a reference number on screen — a calendar invite goes to your email and the full order is saved to Chad's calendar. Final price is subject to on-site review; no payment is collected online.
